Poll: 52% of voters support the US Clarity Act; nearly half are willing to vote across party lines.

PANews reported on May 8th that, according to Cointelegraph, a recent HarrisX poll shows that 52% of registered voters support the CLARITY bill, while only 11% oppose it. 47% of voters said they would consider voting across party lines for a candidate who supports the bill if their preferred party does not support it but the opposing party does. Among crypto users, this figure rises to 72%. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that passing the CLARITY bill is a win-win issue for both parties. Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said that the momentum to ultimately pass the bill has been built.

The poll also showed that 55% of Democrats, 58% of Republicans, and 42% of independents support the bill. Analysts believe that supporting the bill could give senators a 20-point electoral advantage. Coinbase's Vice President of US Policy, Kara Calvert, expects the Senate Banking Committee to review the bill as early as next week, and that it needs at least 60 votes to pass the Senate.
