PANews reported on May 8th that, according to CoinAnk data, the total liquidation amount for cryptocurrency futures contracts across the entire network reached $173 million in the past 24 hours, including $113 million in long positions and $60.5283 million in short positions. The total liquidation amount for BTC was $45.4798 million, and for ETH it was $33.0168 million.
