The first phase of the rsETH technical recovery plan has been completed, and related operations will gradually resume over the next few days.

PANews reported on May 13 that Aave announced on the X platform that the first phase of the rsETH technical recovery plan has been completed, including the destruction of rsETH held by the attacker on Arbitrum. Over the next few days, the LayerZero OFT adapter will be gradually replenished, and rsETH-related operations will be reopened.

In addition, Kelp disclosed that it will gradually replenish 117,132 rsETH from Aave Recovery Guardian and Kelp Recovery Safe to the LayerZero OFT adapter on the mainnet over the next two weeks. Kelp expects to restore withdrawal functionality within 24 hours after the first replenishment is completed, and all rsETH operations will then return to normal. Kelp has completed security hardening for all LayerZero cross-chain configurations: verification requires 4 independent provers, the block confirmation count has been increased from 42 to 64, all L2-to-L2 paths have been deprecated, and related changes have been audited by BailSec. Kelp is migrating to CCIP to further enhance cross-chain bridging security.
