PANews reported on May 13th that Coinbase released its Ethereum validator operation data for Q1 2026, stating that its validators had an average staked amount of 4.5 million ETH, representing approximately 12.17% of the total staked ETH on the network, and committed to maintaining this percentage at no more than 30%. The average validator uptime rate for the quarter was 99.98%, higher than the network average of 99.77%, and there have been no slashing or double-signature incidents since the platform's inception. Coinbase currently uses two consensus clients (Lighthouse and Prysm) and three execution clients (Geth, Nethermind, and Reth).
