Shanghai Telecom launches Token-based tariff packages: 1 yuan corresponds to 250,000 credit points, supporting mobile bill payments.

PANews reported on May 16th that, according to Cailian Press, in response to the growing demand for tokens in the AI era, Shanghai Telecom announced the official launch of its token computing power service for Shanghai Telecom users, becoming the first operator in Shanghai to release a token-based tariff package. Specifically, there are two options: first, pay-as-you-go pricing, with 1 yuan corresponding to 250,000 credit points (for example, the KiMi-K2.5 model can support approximately 250,000 input tokens); second, select-as-you-go pricing, buying only what you need, with discounts for larger purchases, and support for payment via phone bills. Furthermore, according to Shanghai Telecom, after purchasing credit points, users can access over 30 mainstream large-scale models (text, multimodal) through standard API interfaces, integrating AI capabilities into their software, scripts, or automated processes. For example, purchasing 2.5 million credit points for 10 yuan can allow a program to automatically summarize approximately 100 ebooks of 100,000 words each.
