PANews reported on May 20th that Aave founder Stani Kulechov posted on the X platform that Aave V4 is progressing steadily in phases, introducing a new two-tiered segregated market architecture. This architecture separates collateral into independent Hubs, each Hub is further divided into Spokes, and liquidity is shared among the Spokes within each Hub, with selective capping implemented.
The initial market structure revolves around three hubs: Prime, Core, and Plus, with more hubs expected to be launched in subsequent phases. This architecture offers more granular collateral segregation and liquidity supply management compared to Aave's previous market designs. The phased rollout allows Aave to progressively deploy V4, continuously monitoring performance and risk parameters under the new market structure before full launch.
