SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce will teach at a university in Virginia after leaving office.

PANews reported on May 21 that, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, Hester Peirce, a U.S. SEC commissioner and head of the crypto task force, will join Regent University's School of Law as an associate professor in November, marking the end of her term at the SEC. Peirce, known as the "crypto mom," will teach courses on securities regulation, financial markets, digital assets, and public policy in her new role.
