PANews reported on May 22 that, according to The Block, the Blockchain Leadership Fund, a new political action committee backed by Chainlink Labs and Anchorage Digital, has released its initial bipartisan list of candidates for the 2026 midterm elections. The list includes four Senate candidates and six House candidates, representing both Democrats and Republicans. Senate candidates include Barry Moore of Alabama, Kurt Alme of Montana, Jon Husted of Ohio, and Angie Craig of Minnesota. House candidates include Houston Gaines and Jim Kingston of Georgia, Jon Bonck and Christian Menefee of Texas, Adrian Boafo of Maryland, and Don Davis of North Carolina. A Chainlink spokesperson stated that continued bipartisan leadership is crucial to keeping America at the forefront of financial innovation as blockchain technology moves into mainstream finance. Craig is a member of the House Agriculture Committee, which played a key role in passing its version of the CLARITY Act last year.
