Marc Andreessen, co-founder of a16z, recently stated on the Joe Rogan podcast that the Turing Test was the ultimate goal of the AI field for 60 years, but after the emergence of ChatGPT, this goal was achieved almost unnoticed.
He said, "We passed through it like it was a tissue, so fast that nobody bothered to test it anymore."
Andreessen believes that this should have been a historic moment, but it happened quietly around the Christmas holidays in 2022 and was then turned into ordinary news.
