PANews reported on May 27 that, according to Yicai Global, at a press conference held today by the State Council Information Office on the theme of "Starting the 15th Five-Year Plan," Liu Guixiang, a deputy ministerial-level full-time member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court and a second-level grand justice, stated that the people's courts will conduct in-depth research on the adjudication rules for new types of cases such as virtual currencies and cross-border finance, and will formulate judicial interpretations on civil compensation for insider trading and market manipulation as soon as possible to ensure the sound operation of the capital market and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of small and medium-sized investors.
