PANews reported on May 27th that, according to Bloomberg, index provider FTSE Russell has approved adjustments to its Fast Entry rules for IPOs. Under the new rules, large IPOs that meet the market capitalization threshold can be included in the FTSE Russell index system more quickly after listing. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that if SpaceX goes public in the future, it will be eligible for Fast Entry inclusion in relevant indices on the fifth trading day after its listing.
FTSE Russell approves expedited IPO inclusion rules; SpaceX expected to be included in the index within five trading days of listing.
