Zama responds to cUSDC contract freeze: Risk control was triggered by an associated address; Zama is currently processing the recovery.

PANews reported on May 30th that Zama has responded to Circle's freezing of its cUSDC contract. Zama stated that the freeze stemmed from its compliance system flagging an external deposit wallet containing funds within the contract, causing the entire contract to be automatically frozen. This was not a specific sanction against the Zama protocol. Zama's legal team is currently handling the matter, isolating the affected address, and will restore access to other legitimate users as soon as possible.
