PANews reported on June 1st that Gate.cn has officially launched its real-market stock trading service, bridging the gap between crypto assets and traditional financial markets. Users can now directly use USDT to trade stocks and ETFs on major exchanges such as Nasdaq and the NYSE within the Gate.cn platform. Unlike the common stock tokenization and RWA mapping models currently prevalent in the market, Gate.cn emphasizes real-market access and compliant trading capabilities, connecting with compliant brokers holding US Broker-Dealer licenses and clearing qualifications, and accessing major US stock and ETF trading markets.
Currently, Gate supports major US securities exchanges and liquidity networks such as the NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE Arca, NYSE American, and BATS, covering over 10,000 stocks and ETFs. After completing KYC and regional access, users can transfer USDT, view market data, and trade stocks within the Gate App via the TradeFi section's stock zone, achieving unified integration of crypto asset accounts and traditional stock trading capabilities. Furthermore, Gate stocks employ an independent account system, allowing users to buy, hold, and sell stock assets with separate fund management. Compared to funding rates in perpetual contracts and swap fees and overnight fees in CFD products, Gate stocks offer zero holding costs, making them more suitable for users with long-term US stock asset allocation needs. Android users can experience stock trading functionality by updating the Gate App to the latest version, while iOS users can access the service after updating to version 8.21.5. Gate's launch of stock trading services further propels stablecoins from crypto trading scenarios to global asset allocation scenarios.
