A wallet that had been dormant for 15 years and was listed in a New York lawsuit transferred 35.55 BTC to prove it had not been abandoned.

PANews reported on June 3 that, according to Bitcoin News, a Bitcoin wallet that had been dormant since 2011 transferred 35.55 BTC (approximately $2.54 million) yesterday to prove it was not abandoned. This comes after the wallet was named as a defendant in a New York lawsuit claiming that nearly 3.8 million dormant Bitcoins were legally abandoned property.

Previously, it was reported that an American man filed a lawsuit against two companies, seeking ownership of more than 39,000 dormant Bitcoin addresses .
