Tether AI advances native intelligence through QVAC SDK update and TurboQuant integration.

PANews reported on June 3rd that, according to Crowdfund Insider, Tether's AI research team has enhanced its open-source ecosystem by releasing a production-ready version of TurboQuant, a memory compression technology developed by Google Research, which has been integrated into the latest version of the QVAC SDK. TurboQuant addresses the key-value caching problem, a major bottleneck for running AI locally, compressing the cache by up to 5 times while maintaining almost no change in output quality. This means that consumer devices such as laptops and mobile phones can directly handle complex tasks such as long conversations and large documents, reducing reliance on cloud data centers. Tether's CEO stated that this release aims to enable AI to run on personal devices and local networks, rather than processing all tasks through a centralized system.
