MILC Media Metaverse suffered a key breach incident on its cross-chain bridges on BNB and Ethereum, resulting in a loss of approximately $160,000.

PANews reported on June 10th that, according to Blockaid monitoring, a key breach occurred on the MILC Media Metaverse cross-chain bridge between BNB and Ethereum. The attacker exploited a historical bridge administrator wallet to grant administrator privileges to an EOA address under their control, subsequently extracting MLT tokens from the bridge contract and transferring administrator control of the cross-chain bridge to their own wallet. Currently, the attacker has obtained approximately 97,003 USDT on BSC and transferred approximately 39.21 ETH on Ethereum via Rhino.fi, resulting in a total loss of approximately $161,000.
