The European Central Bank raised its deposit facility rate from 2.00% to 2.25%, marking the first rate hike in nearly three years.

PANews reported on June 11 that the European Central Bank raised its deposit facility rate from 2.00% to 2.25%, the first rate hike in nearly three years, in line with market expectations. The main refinancing rate and marginal lending rate were raised to 2.40% and 2.65%, respectively.
