The U.S. Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for December was 89.1, below the expected 91.

PANews reported on December 23 that the US Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index for December was 89.1, lower than the expected 91, but higher than the previous value of 88.7, which was revised to 92.9.

The Richmond Fed Manufacturing Index for December was -7, higher than the expected -10 and the previous reading of -15.
