PANews reported on February 1 that according to a report by Jinshi citing Xinhua Daily Telegraph, a Delaware-based company applied for the DeepSeek trademark, named Delson Group Inc. Delson Group claims that it has been selling DeepSeek-branded AI products since early 2020. Its CEO and founder is named Willie Lu. Willie Lu and DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng both graduated from Zhejiang University.
