PANews reported on January 26 that according to the on-chain detective ZachXBT, it is suspected that someone was hacked on the Sui network last month (December 12, 2024) and stole about 29 million US dollars (6.27 million SUI). The stolen funds were transferred from Sui to Ethereum via Bridgers, and then deposited in Tornado Cash in batches. Shortly after the theft, the victim transferred his .sui domain name to a new address that was not affected. Due to the functional limitations of the Sui blockchain browser, the theft is difficult to track.
