PANews reported on May 13 that Tether announced that its tokenized gold product Tether Gold (XAU₮) was officially launched on the Thai digital asset exchange Maxbit, becoming the first platform in Thailand to provide Tether Gold transactions. XAU₮ is a token fully backed by physical gold, each token represents one troy ounce of gold, combining the stability of traditional gold with the speed and transparency of blockchain technology.
