크라켄 CEO “NFT 담보로 대출 가능하도록 준비 중”

블록미디어에 따르면 크라켄의 CEO 제시 파월이 NFT를 담보로 하는 대출 서비스를 준비 중이라고 밝혔다. 파월은 24일 블룸버그와 인터뷰에서 이 같이 말했다. 파월은 “예를 들어 크립토펑크를 크라켄 수탁 서비스에 예치하면, 이 NFT의 가치를 평가해서 일부 자금을 유동화하는 방안을 고민 중”이라고 말했다. 앞서 코인니스는 파월이 이르면 내년 2월 NFT 마켓플레이스를 출시할 것이라고 밝혔다고 전한 바 있다.
