코인데스크에 따르면, 미국 샌프란시스코 기반 B2B 금융결제 플랫폼 트리발(Tribal)이 스텔라 개발 재단(SDF)에서 2000만 USDC, 미국 SVB 금융그룹 산하 투자사인 파트너스 포 그로스(Partners For Growth)로부터 2000만 달러 부채를 조달했다. 높은 이자율로 자본 접근이 어려운 신흥국 중소기업들에게 낮은 이자율의 암호화폐를 활용해 대출 서비스를 제공한다는 계획이다. 트리발은 USDC을 활용해 자본 접근성을 개선하고 비용을 낮추는 게 목적이라면서, 고객에게는 암호화폐 자금이 제공되지 않는다고 설명했다.
