코인데스크에 따르면 암호화폐 거래소 게이트아이오(Gate.io) 산하 게이트벤처스는 올해 3분기까지 두번째 암호화폐 펀드를 조성할 예정이다. 이를 위해 총 2억 달러를 모금할 계획이며, 해당 펀드는 레이어1, 레이어2 프로토콜을 지원할 것이라고 게이트아이오 매니징 파트너 케빈 양은 설명했다. 케빈 양은 "현재 약 20개 기관에서 자금을 조달하고 있다"고 덧붙였다. 앞서 게이트벤처스는 지난해 1억 달러 규모 암호화폐 펀드를 조성한 바 있다.
