被美国证监会SEC勒令罚款后，ICOBox创始人玩起了失踪。
PANews 3月12日消息，被美国证监会SEC勒令罚款后，ICOBox创始人玩起了失踪。据CoinDesk报道，ICOBox创始人在拖欠了两个月房租后早已搬离住所，而其开曼群岛的代理人也已离职，而且无人接替职位。3月5日，加州中央区地方法院批准了SEC对ICOBox平台及其创始人兼首席执行官Nikolay Evdokimov的违约判决动议。

2019年9月18日，SEC起诉ICOBox及其创始人Nikolay Evdokimov属于未注册经纪商且从事非法证券发行活动。SEC称，ICOBox及其创始人Nikolay Evdokimov通过向2000多名投资者出售该公司的ICO代币非法募集到约1460万美元资金，并且承诺使用这些代币能在其平台上打折购买其他加密货币，但现在这些代币几乎毫无价值。ICOBox被罚款1600万美元，而Evdokimov将不得不支付超过19.2万美元的个人罚款。
