PANews reported on October 7 that on October 7, according to TheDigitalBanker, Dubai's financial super app Fasset announced that it has obtained a temporary license from Malaysian regulators and plans to launch a digital bank driven by stablecoins and compliant with Islamic law. It is reported that Fasset also plans to issue encrypted debit cards for daily consumption and will launch the Ethereum Layer 2 platform "Own" built on Arbitrum for settling real-world assets.
