억만장자 엘런 하워드, 신생 비트코인 펀드 지원

헤지펀드 매니저이자 억만장자로 이름이 알려진 앨런 하워드가 새로 설립된 원리버에셋매니지먼트(One River Asset Management)를 지원한다. 해당 회사는 내년 초까지 비트 코인과 이더리움에 최대 10억 달러의 자산을 할당할 계획을 가지고 있다.

헤지펀드 매니저이자 억만장자로 이름이 알려진 앨런 하워드가 새로 설립된 원리버에셋매니지먼트(One River Asset Management)를 지원한다. 해당 회사는 내년 초까지 비트 코인과 이더리움에 최대 10억 달러의 자산을 할당할 계획을 가지고 있다. 

원리버에셋매니지먼트의 CEO인 에릭 피터스(Eric Peters)는 이미 11월에 기관투자자들을 위해 6억 달러 이상에 해당하는 비트 코인과 이더리움에 투자했다고 밝힌 바 있다. 

하워드는 원리버 펀드에 투자하는 것 외에도 원리버에셋매니지먼트 회사 주식을 매입한 것으로 알려졌다. 그가 관리하는 엘우드애셋매니지먼트(Elwood Asset Management)는 원리버에셋매니지먼트의 계열사인 원리버디지털(One River Digital)의 거래 서비스, 시장 분석 및 기술 지원을 제공하고 있다. 

새로 설립된 펀드의 관리는 노던트러스트(Northern Trust)가, 커스터디 파트너로는 코인베이스가 그 역할을 담당할 예정이다.
