PANews 10月19日消息，据英国金融时报报道，法国央行使用其央行数字货币（CBDC）并利用区块链技术执行了一系列政府债券交易。该试点项目由证券存托机构 Euroclear 领导，法国公共债务办公室以及由法国巴黎银行、法国农业信贷银行、汇丰银行和法国兴业银行组成的财团共同参与。该试点项目把政府债券作为证券“代币”进行交易，并用法国央行提供的数字货币进行结算，测试了中央银行数字货币在发行新债券、债券回购、支付息票和赎回交易中的实用性。
