PANews 10月23日消息，据Coingape报道，以色列央行正在研究央行数字货币（CBDC），并正在利用以太坊技术进行试验。在该试点项目中，IT部门建立了一个基于以太坊区块链的试验环境，在一个封闭的网络上运行，与以太坊主网没有关联。以色列央行在试点期间测试了CBDC的经济、法律和技术各方面，使用的技术与澳大利亚、香港和泰国央行早先使用的技术类似。
