PANews 3月11日消息，据Cointelegraph报道，3月11日消息，牙买加总理安德鲁·霍尔内斯已经宣布，该国央行将向首批购买该国央行数字货币的10万名公民空投价值16美元的央行数字货币Jam-Dex，以期促进广泛采用。
数据显示，目前约有17%的牙买加人口没有银行账户，对于较贫穷的牙买加人来说，使用央行数字货币可以给很多人提供帮助。
