PANews 3月17日消息，据TechCrunch报道，基于监管考虑BAYC母公司Yuga Labs不会直接参与ApeCoin发行。据悉，“ApeCoin”由一个名为ApeCoin DAO的实体发布，该实体由与NFT项目相关的理事会成员组成，但他们都不是Yuga Labs的员工或Yuga Labs的高管。

ApeCoin DAO的理事会成员包括Reddit联合创始人Alexis Ohanian、FTX风险投资与游戏主管Amy Wu、Sound Ventures 负责人Maaria Bajwa、Animoca联合创始人Yat Siu和Horizen Labs总裁Dean Steinbeck。
