PANews reported on December 11 that Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said in a post on X that Bitcoin DeFi is a key mission roadmap that InputOutput Global (IOG) will pursue in 2025. To this end, he set a goal for the team to create a meaningful demo before the Bitcoin 2025 conference in May 2025.

Hoskinson said that he will work with the multi-party computing protocol FairGateLabs to achieve these goals. In addition, the partnership will also extend to community projects and wallets. Although no specific timeline for the minimum viable product (MVP) was provided, Hoskinson said there is still a lot of work to be done.
