PANews reported on May 24 that according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Ember, the whale/institution that sold 184.4 WBTC (US$20.4 million) through Wintermute OTC yesterday bought US$15 million of AAVE through Wintermute today.
They transferred 15 million USDC to Wintermute, and then received 57,715 AAVE from Wintermute, which means the unit price of this purchase was US$259.9.
They have been hoarding AAVE since March 2023, and have currently spent a total of US$30.8 million to hoard 224,010 AAVE tokens at an average price of US$137.5, with a current floating profit of US$26.32 million.
