PANews reported on December 16 that according to the official announcement of Beam, with the passage of Avalanche community proposal ACP-77, the Etna upgrade will be implemented soon, affecting all subnets, including Beam Network. After the Etna upgrade, Beam Network will be officially called the Layer 1 blockchain network because it will get rid of more restrictions of the Avalanche network while still enjoying its infrastructure.
