PANews reported on June 5 that CoinDesk reported that Plume, a blockchain network focusing on real-world assets (RWA), officially launched the Genesis mainnet. The platform has integrated more than $150 million of RWA assets from traditional financial institutions such as BlackRock and Invesco, and has completed integration with DeFi protocols such as Curve and Morpho.
Plume tokenizes traditional financial instruments, allowing users to seamlessly use RWA in DeFi scenarios such as lending and liquidity provision. In December 2024, the project completed a $20 million Series A financing, and the scale of ecological funds reached $4 billion. The team plans to expand to new asset categories such as art and precious metals in the coming months.
