广东省政协委员、华南师范大学计算机学院教授赵淦森在接受采访时表示，，需要建立一个响应速度更快、信息更透明、数据能够共享利用的体系来支撑公共卫生事件的广域协作和处置，而区块链就是最好的选择。 同时，利用区块链技术能够更好地促进有效防疫力量的广泛参与。依托区块链平台，还可以把公共卫生事件的感知和数据采集工作，前移到第一线和基层。不仅如此，区块链不可篡改、数据真实的特点，也能避免更多人为干扰，为行政决策和技术研判提供及时、原始的数据。
