PANews reported on November 7th, citing Cointelegraph, that Joe Longo, Chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), stated at the National Press Club that without actively promoting asset tokenization, Australia's capital market risks being overtaken by other countries and becoming a "land of missed opportunities." He cited BCG's prediction that the global on-chain physical asset tokenization market could reach $16 trillion by 2030, and revealed that JPMorgan plans to tokenize $730 billion in money market funds within two years.
