PANews reported on August 7th that, according to CoinDesk , Tether , through its subsidiary Tether Ventures, led a € 30 million funding round in Spanish crypto exchange Bit2Me , acquiring a minority stake. Bit2Me has been authorized by the Spanish securities regulator, becoming the first Spanish-language fintech company to receive the EU's MiCA license. The company plans to use this round of funding to expand its presence in Latin America, with a focus on Argentina. Existing shareholders include major Spanish institutions such as Telefónica , BBVA , and Unicaja . The specific shareholding percentage and valuation of the transaction were not disclosed.
