BlackRock's internal portfolio increases IBIT Bitcoin ETF holdings by 25%

PANews reported on May 28 that according to Cointelegraph, the U.S. SEC documents disclosed that BlackRock's "Strategic Income Opportunities Portfolio" continued to increase its holdings of its own Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), with holdings reaching 2.12 million shares (worth $99.4 million) as of March 31, an increase of 25% from the end of 2024. This bond-type investment portfolio uses Bitcoin ETF as a diversified allocation tool, reflecting the increasing recognition of crypto assets by institutions.

As the largest Bitcoin ETF in the United States, IBIT currently has an asset management scale of US$72 billion, and its daily net inflow has exceeded US$500 million many times since May. Bitwise predicts that the total inflow of Bitcoin ETFs may reach US$120 billion in 2025 and is expected to exceed US$300 billion in 2026.
