Jane Street already holds stakes in crypto firms Coinbase, Strategy and Iris Energy

PANews reported on February 17 that according to Bitcoin.com, this year, many financial giants and investment funds have rushed to buy crypto exchange ETFs and stocks related to crypto companies. On February 14, 2025, financial giant Jane Street submitted multiple 13G form filings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), disclosing its beneficial ownership of more than 5% of a certain class of equity securities. SEC filings show that Jane Street already holds shares in Coinbase, Strategy (formerly Microstrategy) and Iris Energy.

Additionally, Iris Energy’s list of shareholders includes Susquehanna (2.14%) and Marshall Wace (2%), reflecting the growing institutional interest in the deployment of mining infrastructure.
