ZetaChain and Alibaba Cloud have jointly launched the "General AI" Collaborative Learning Hackathon: a collaborative learning and development program integrating AI and general blockchain innovation. Open to developers in the Asia-Pacific region, the program offers a total of up to $200,000 in ecosystem funding. This event is co-hosted by LXDAO, which is responsible for the overall planning and execution of the collaborative learning camp.
ZetaChain's mission is to create a universal blockchain with native access capabilities, making the crypto world as open, diverse, and interconnected as the internet. This collaboration with Alibaba Cloud and LXDAO will unite developers, technical mentors, and community representatives from the Asia-Pacific region to explore the cutting-edge direction of "multi-chain interoperability + artificial intelligence," creating state-of-the-art universal applications on ZetaChain.
Activity Format
This program is divided into two phases: a two-week "co-learning camp" + a two-week "online hackathon".
During the collaborative learning camp, participants will delve into ZetaChain's core technologies, including the general EVM, general smart contracts, and the integration documentation for Qwen AI. All learning materials will be open-sourced on GitHub, allowing participants to check in daily and join a dedicated discussion group. A live-streamed course will be held weekly, jointly taught and answered by expert instructors from ZetaChain, Alibaba Cloud, and LXDAO.
The hackathon phase will allow participants to truly implement their learning outcomes. Based on ZetaChain, they will design and build prototype applications, exploring the potential of AI in cross-chain intelligent scenarios. Outstanding teams will have the opportunity to receive up to $200,000 in follow-up funding and incubation support from the ZetaChain Ecosystem Fund, transforming their prototype projects into mature products and jointly promoting the development of a general-purpose blockchain ecosystem.

This event features two main themes, encouraging developers to explore the potential of combining Web3 and AI from different perspectives.
1️⃣ Universal DeFi
Leveraging ZetaChain's native cross-chain capabilities, all general-purpose applications deployed on-chain can natively access and combine assets and protocols from mainstream public chains. As infrastructure boundaries are broken down, the focus of innovation returns to the application layer. On ZetaChain, developers can redefine the way DeFi is combined and the user experience.
