PANews reported on May 5 that according to official news from PayPal, payment giant PayPal plans to officially launch its payment service in physical retail stores in the German market this summer.

This will mark the first time that PayPal has expanded its payment capabilities to offline physical stores in Germany. According to the announcement, German users will be able to use the PayPal App on their smartphones (supporting iOS and Android platforms) to complete payments at all merchant point-of-sale terminals (POS) that accept Mastercard contactless payments.
