Figure AI announces termination of cooperation with OpenAI, claims to have made breakthroughs in robotics AI

According to PANews on February 5, Figure AI founder and CEO Brett Adcock said in a statement today that the company decided to terminate its cooperation agreement with OpenAI on the grounds that it has made "major breakthroughs" in fully end-to-end humanoid robot AI, and the technology was developed entirely independently by the internal team.

Figure AI said that OpenAI's focus was not on embedded artificial intelligence, so it decided to focus on its own research and development. In addition, some analysts believe that OpenAI may be developing its own hardware. Adcock did not disclose specific details, but promised to demonstrate "unprecedented" humanoid robot technology in the next 30 days.
