WikiLeaks to mint Afghanistan war logs on Bitcoin blockchain via Ordinals protocol

PANews reported on December 5 that according to The Block, WikiLeaks founder Assange's Project Spartacus will mint 76,911 Afghan war log files on the Bitcoin blockchain through the Ordinals protocol. The minting process will span multiple blocks, and the purpose is not to raise funds for Assange, but to permanently record his story in Bitcoin history.

Assange and his family and friends have fought to keep accessible the Afghanistan War Logs, which he released on WikiLeaks in 2010. The documents document classified details of U.S. military operations, including civilian casualties and interrogation methods.
