Blockchain lending company Figure has submitted IPO application documents to the US SEC

PANews reported on August 5th that according to CoinDesk, blockchain lending company Figure Technology Solutions announced on Monday that it has confidentially submitted an IPO application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with plans to go public later this year. Founded by former SoFi CEO Mike Cagney, Figure has played a key role in the real-world asset (RWA) sector, issuing over $16 billion in home equity lines of credit through the Provenance blockchain. Last month, the company announced its merger with Figure Markets, a blockchain-based marketplace also founded by Cagney that has issued a yield-generating stablecoin that operates as a tokenized money market fund (YDLS).
