PANews reported on August 20 that as of the close of August 20, 2025, the total market value of stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange was 60,473.846 billion yuan, the total market value of stocks on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange reached 39,962.047 billion yuan, and the total market value of stocks in the two markets reached 100,435.893 billion yuan.
As of today's closing, the total market value of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets has once again exceeded 100 trillion yuan.
