PANews reported on May 20 that according to Bloomberg, Paul Grewal, legal director of Coinbase, received a total compensation of more than $8.2 million in 2024, while Daniel Gallagher of Robinhood received $8.6 million. The two tied for the top spot on the list of high-paid legal staff of financial technology companies. Both companies increased executive compensation through large stock awards. Paul Clement, a well-known lawyer and member of the Coinbase board of directors, also received a salary of more than $850,000. In addition, Heath Tarbert, legal director of Circle, has accumulated nearly $30 million in revenue since taking office in 2023.
