PANews reported on January 2 that according to THE INFORMATION, two people familiar with the matter revealed that Morgan Stanley's online stock trading division E-Trade is exploring the addition of cryptocurrency trading to cope with the more favorable cryptocurrency regulatory environment brought by the incoming Donald Trump administration. If Morgan Stanley continues to launch the service, E-Trade will become one of the largest mainstream financial companies offering cryptocurrency trading, allowing the traditional brokerage giant to compete with Coinbase and other cryptocurrency exchanges.
