11月30日，根据委内瑞拉军队第6工兵团第61营在Instagram上发布的一段视频显示，特种兵们将军队营地变成巨大的采矿中心，并安装了ASIC采矿机，甚至还建成了一个维修中心，用来翻新、修理旧的或损坏的矿机设备。据了解，该中心是军方建造的第一个比特币挖矿中心，总部设在加拉加斯的Fuerte Tiuna军队设施的军营中。
