Anthropic plans to allow employees to sell shares at a valuation of $350 billion.

PANews reported on February 4th, citing Bloomberg, that Anthropic is planning a deal that would allow some employees to sell their company shares at a valuation of at least $350 billion. Simultaneously, the company is conducting a funding round that is expected to raise over $20 billion.

This takeover bid would allow Anthropic employees to sell a portion of their equity holdings in one of the world's most valuable artificial intelligence startups. The source familiar with the matter said the $350 billion valuation is the same as discussed in the company's ongoing funding round, and is a pre-funding valuation, meaning it does not include the final amount raised.
